Obama Pictures, Number 1

People
 Objects
 Activities
1.       A ferry worker on the watch tower of the boat
 American Flag, the sky
Looking at the sea and/or watching the people get off the ferry.
2.       2 or 3 ferry workers on the watch tower of the boat
 The boat watch tower
Looking at the sea and/or watching the people get off the ferry.
3.       One of the mayors in a green shirt.
The ferry boat, a crane, a guide wall to the left
The mayor walking off the boat.
4.       Obama, 2 mayors, a coast guard official and background people
 The boardwalk, the background people.
Walking off the boat and talking amongst themselves.
3 things I might infer from the photograph:
1) There is going to be a meeting to bring important matters to a close.
2) Obama either seems confident in what he is about to do, or he's treating the matter as a joke. I can't tell the difference.
3) The coast guard offical is the most heated about the subject at hand because his body language in turned into who he is talking too and the other has a wide mouth as if shouting back a defense.
3 Questions that I wonder about this picture:
1) How are things being fixed by talking? A solution requires action other than jaw movement.
2) Does Obama understand the gravity of how this matter is affecting the area? And if he does, how do the people feel about his plan of action?
3) How long did it take from the time the oil leak began to when it was sealed off? How many days went by, how many creatures were killed, how much did business decrease, how long did it take for life to continue normally, if at all?
